The stainless steel bowl is top rack dishwasher safe. Recommended cleaning for the stand is to wipe down a few times weekly with a slightly dampened cloth to remove any crusted food or water spots.
Choosing the right size:
1. Measure your dog from the floor to his lower chest level while standing with his front feet directly under him (see photo). That measurement is how high your dog feeder should be.
2. The top of the dog feeder should be at a comfortable level so your dog does not need to reach up or bend down.
3. When selecting an elevated dog feeder height, keep in mind that it is better to choose a raised dog feeder that is a little too low than too high. If a dog is not comfortable with the height of an elevated feeder, he will have a difficult time eating and will not enjoy that special time.
